XM CANADA ACHIEVES 270,000 SUBSCRIBERS
NHL to be exclusive to XM Satellite Radio beginning July 1

Canadian Satellite Radio Holdings Inc., through its XM Canada satellite radio service, announced today it has achieved 270,000 subscribers as of the end of its third quarter ended May 31, 2007.
"We continue to focus our efforts on building our subscriber base through diverse channels," said John Bitove, chairman and chief executive officer of XM Canada. "XM Canada has built an extensive network of automotive partners that are continually increasing their XM radio installations and we are extending into the retail sector with new and innovative products. Our outstanding programming lineup is further bolstered as XM Satellite Radio becomes the exclusive radio broadcaster of the NHL beginning July 1 for the next eight seasons."
For the past two years, XM Satellite Radio held equal NHL broadcast rights with Sirius Satellite Radio. On July 1, a new agreement takes effect and XM becomes the exclusive satellite radio network of the NHL for the next eight seasons.
The subscriber numbers reported today are based on unaudited results. Please refer to the Management Discussion and Analysis document that will be filed in conjunction with the Company's third quarter financial results for greater detail on the subscriber counts.
