BBM ANNOUNCES FIRST FEMALE CHAIR OF THE BBM BOARD Broadcaster BBM Canada is pleased to announce that Kathy Gardner, Senior Vice President of Integrated Media Research and Corporate Promotions for CanWest MediaWorks, has been elected Chair of the BBM Board of Directors.
"Kathy has several years of experience with BBM, and has provided strong leadership to the Television Executive Committee as its Chair," said Jim MacLeod, President and CEO, BBM Canada. "She brings a unique background to her new role as Chair with both agency and television experience. Kathy will have a positive influence on the Board at this pivotal time in the evolution of audience measurement. She truly is the right person at the right time for BBM."
Ms. Gardner is a well respected media professional who is committed to business practice excellence. Ms. Gardner has served on the Canadian Media Directors Council, Nielsen Advisory Board, and is a past president of the Broadcast Research Council. She has also served as the Chair of the TVB and Chair of BBM's Television Executive Committee.
