BYRNESMEDIA CLIENT TESTING NEW FM Bayshore Broadcasting Release Bayshore Broadcasting Corporation of Owen Sound has begun signal testing for Wasaga’s new FM radio station , CHGB, 97.7 the Beach. The testing began April 5th and will run for a 4 week period as required by Industry Canada.
“Our new station has attracted a great deal of interest from experienced broadcasters who have ties to the Wasaga area,” according to Ass’t General Manager Deb Shaw. “I am pleased to let everyone know that Rick Ringer, will join the Bayshore team in Wasaga as Operations Manager. Rick is a veteran Broadcaster and held a similar position with CHUM Radio in the Kawartha’s and as an announcer with CHUM FM in Toronto. .Joe Cahill will take on the Morning Show duties at 97.7 the Beach. Joe arrives from a similar position at CHTZ in St. Chatherines. Joining Joe in the Morning will Mariane McLeod. Mariane is a former Reporter and News Anchor for 680 News in Toronto. Long time Newsman Milt Conway will hold down the News Desk on the Weekends.
Also joining the team are Kevin Brown, General Sales Manager, Doug Trentor, Sales Supervisor, Patti Haney, Sales Representative and John Omara who will take on the challenge of Creative and Production Director.”
