Z103.5 SPONSORS "HOLIDAY BEAR" PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN'S AID FOUNDATION

After raising over $90,000 last year, Toronto radio station Z103.5 is proud to once again be the "Official Radio Station" of the "J.J. Holiday Bear" charity program in support of the Children's Aid Foundation. Z103.5 has joined forces with BMO Bank of Montreal for the 2nd year to raise funds to help abused and neglected children throughout the Toronto area.

 

Listeners of Z103.5 will have an opportunity to visit Toronto area branches of BMO Bank of Montreal to purchase "J.J. Holiday Bear" for $10.00 with all proceeds being donated to the Foundation.

 

"We are honored to have formed this partnership with Z103.5. They have provided tremendous leadership, creativity and energy to launching this program, and we are confident that with their support we will be able to sell thousands of J.J. Bears. Given the success of last year, we are confident that the results of this fund-raising drive will benefit abused and neglected children", said Sheilagh Johnson, Executive Director of the Children's Aid Foundation.

 

The campaign runs from November 8th to December 22nd and will include commercial air-time, live announcer promotion, live remote broadcasts and exposure on Z 103.5's website encouraging listeners to support the program. The official launch is November 8th at BMO First Canadian Place. Z103.5 morning show announcers Scott Fox, Dave Blezard and Ashley Greco will be on site from 10a - 2p in support of the launch.
