Lee Facto, one of the original partners in RCS, died Monday, June 12 at his home in Santa Rosa, CA. He was 72.
Facto retired as RCS VP/International Operations & CFO in 2002. He had served in various management capacities including administration, sales, international development and finances over two decades with the broadcast software company. During his tenure, RCS grew from a five-person operation to having a worldwide staff of 150 when he retired.
Prior to RCS, Facto was VP/GM of IGM, a pioneer in FM broadcasting, automation systems and syndicated music programming. He was also a co-founder of SBS, a provider of traffic and billing systems for radio, television and cable companies.
Facto is survived by his wife Anne and their two sons. In a note to the company, Anne said, "RCS was like family to him. He loved and admired you all." [ Email this article | Return to ByrnesMedia Main Page ]
