XM CANADA REVS UP FOR CANADIAN INTERNATIONAL AUTOSHOW

XM Canada is gearing up for a major presence at Canada's largest auto show and will further establish its leadership position as the number one satellite radio service provider in the auto industry. XM Canada will be at booth RC-4 at the Canadian International AutoShow from February 17 to 26 at the Rogers Centre and the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

100 Roady XT Giveaways

 

XM Canada will be giving away 100 XM Roady XT radios and complimentary three-month subscriptions to attendees who fill out a ballot at the XM booth in the Rogers Centre. The sleek Roady XT is compatible with all vehicles that have an FM radio and was XM Canada's top selling satellite radio over the holidays.

 

Home Ice Live Broadcasts

 

Auto enthusiasts will also be able to indulge another passion, as XM Canada's all-hockey channel, Home Ice on channel 204, will be broadcasting live from the AutoShow Monday to Friday. The Home Ice booth will be anchored by the Home Ice team - Jim Tatti, Gary Green, Ron Rimer, Todd Lewis and Phil Esposito who will be joined by his brother, all-star goalie Tony Esposito.

 

During the show, they will welcome a stream of high profile Canadian musicians including Jim Cuddy of Blue Radio and The Rheostatics' Dave Bidini. Also scheduled to appear are a pair of popular former Maple Leafs, Bill Berg and the NHL Director of Hockey Operations, Kris King who will be interviewed live from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, February 25.

 

Special Auto Show Demos in the XM Canada Listening Lounge

 

AutoShow patrons will be able to take a variety of XM's most popular satellite receivers for a test drive in XM Canada's inviting listening lounge where visitors can relax and experience XM Canada's groundbreaking channel lineup of the most commercial-free music, comedy, sports, news and entertainment programming. Radios such as The Delphi Roady XT, the smallest, thinnest receiver in the market, as well as the SkyFi2, the world's first 30-minute replay satellite radio will be available. For those who would prefer a truly portable experience, the world's first integrated portable satellite radio allowing both live and recorded capabilities, the Delphi MyFi, will also be available. The XM Canada lounge will feature a luxury setup including 25 private listening booths equipped with comfortable leather chairs.
