610 CHTM in Thompson, MB has an opening for an afternoon drive announcer. We are a small to medium market station with a strong community-minded philosophy. Our format is a hybrid that we developed to cater to as much of our listening audience as possible.
We’re looking for someone who:
- has completed relevant courses in radio broadcasting.
- can host an energetic and interactive radio show.
- is interested in contributing to our online content (blogging, video, pics, other interactive material related to our website).
- can make public appearances and do remotes.
- loves commercial & promo production.
- preparation and recording Voice track shifts.
- fill-in on other day parts and holiday shifts when required.
- has an interest in music scheduling.
- all other related tasks.
